Séana Long has always had an interest in make up. At the tender age of 15, she began an apprenticeship with Make Up Forever. Originally working with products on the shop floor and serving clients, Séana then studied under the make up artists working in Make Up forever Before long, she was working full time as a Make Up Artist, many opportunities presented themselves and Séana’s portfolio is vast. She counts a host of celebrities,TV presenters, models and well known socialites among her clients including Caprice, JEDWARD, Miriam O Callaghan, Sile Seoige, Claudine Palmer-Keane, Miss World winner Rosanna Davison, Amanda Brunker and Georgia Salpa to name but a few.
Séana has worked at a number of high profile events including The Cheerio’s Childline Concert and The Meteor Awards which saw her work her magic on a host of famous faces including JEDWARD, Westlife, JLS, The Saturdays, The Script, The Coronas, Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs and Sharon Shannon.
She has also worked for many well known Irish Magazines including Irish Tatler, Stellar, Kiss, Prudence, RSVP, VIP, The RTÉ Guide and she regularly contributes to the Sunday Independent’s Life magazine.
In 2008, Séana flew to Paris and qualified as The Official Make Up For Ever trainer for Ireland. After which, she came home to train students for courses in Make Up For Ever until the end of March 2011, when she left Make Up For Ever.
Séana currently works for Brown Sugar where she has designed a beginners course for the general public to come learn about make up for themselves or as a starting point for make up artistry.
