Brown Sugar A/W 2011 shoot

Last week we shot our new Autumn/Winter campaign with renowned fashion photographer Barry McCall. Barry has shot some of our previous campaigns and is fantastic at what he does. We were blown away with how outstanding our new campaign images look, and we are very excited to share them with you all very soon.

‘Beautiful’, ‘high-fashion’, ‘glamorous’ would be some of the words I would use to describe the photo shoot. We had amazing models who were a pleasure to work with and they delivered lots of fantastic shots.

When photo shoots like this take place you can really get a feel for just how well all of the talented Brown Sugar staff work together. The team who worked hard to make it all happen included Creative Director and Senior Stylist Christian Shannon, Make-up Artists Dearbhla Keenan and Seána Long, Senior Stylists Laura Reid, Elayne Archbold and Debbie Blake Carr, Senior Colourists Mark Byrne and Amie Penco, Brown Sugar Blackrock manager John Cheese and Brown Sugar owner Mark O’Keeffe.

“The inspiration for this year’s campaign was lace and leather with a bondage-esque edge inspired by catwalk trends,” says Christian. “We wanted to keep the beauty of previous Brown Sugar shoots but take it to another level, which I think we achieved. With this shoot you can see how we embraced a play on hard and soft within the images.”

Freelance stylist Aisling Farrinella was on hand throughout the day with some gorgeous clothes for our models. Our favourite would have to be the stunning metallic Herve Leger dress – Keep your eyes peeled for it when we release the images!

To give you a taste of what you can expect from our campaign images, have a look at some behind the scenes images.
