St.Francis Hospice fundraiser…

We have been left in a state of shock after yesterdays event! We would like to extend our gratefulness to every client, business and anyone who has donated to our fundraiser for the St. Francis Hospice, which marked the 1 year anniversary of the passing of our dear friend and colleague Eugene.

At a time of such sadness, it was a fantastic achievement for us to turn it around into such a positive thing, by raising funding for the hospice whom provides specialist palliative care to patients and families! To allow them to continue their work, means more families in the position the Reilly family where in last year, can receive the same priceless care which they received.

It is still to be confirmed, but our original target of €10,000 was exceeded and then some! An outstanding achievement for Brown Sugar, which could not have been done without our loyal customers and hard-working staff.

We would also like to extend a special thanks to all of the businesses who have provided such wonderful donations for our raffle which takes place this coming weekend, they have been a tremendous help to us in reaching our €10,000 goal.

While customers enjoyed some pampering and our staff happily worked away, Twitter and Facebook was exploding with such an amazing response to the fundraiser! Using the hashtag #HelpTheHospice – We have put together a slideshow of some of the amazing comments which we felt needed to be highlighted, as it was everyones generosity that made this day happen…. Which we are hoping will now be an annual Brown Sugar event!!
